IMO Texas is handling this coaching search perfectly; literally no one knows what in the world is going on. Patterson is like a sly chess player moving all his pieces in to position and then suddenly announcing "check mate" while you're left wondering what the heck just happened.

The only name being floated that I'm not sold on is Mora. I know a lot of people think we need to make a big splash, but I really believe all the other names are an upgrade at this point in time.

My real question about this guy is what is he trying to accomplish? Is he trying to be the Skip of college football, he's a cartoon character. I understand that in SEC country Texas is viewed in a less than favorable light (I had a pretty bad experience in NOLA when Bama played LSU 2012, I was wearing at Texas shirt), but really does he feel the need to down the Horns over and over? I mean Texas' handling of the coaching search has been pretty tight lipped, Patterson is doing a pretty good job.

I actually found myself pulling for Stoops last night after reading Finebaum's tweet after the first Bama score. Finebaum is a moron....in fact, he gives morons everywhere a bad name. And, yes, he's gotta be burned up after last night.
