You're not getting the point. I did not say they didn't commit a crime, but in who they decided to target when conducting sting operations was the issue. From your link: (yes, I do read links. . . .)
You seem to be claiming a white person would not have been arrested? nonsense. . . .
I noticed your article claimed driving without insurance is a "poverty crime". . . .so it's OK if you are poor to drive uninsured so when you hit another vehicle. . . you screw someone else out of restitution?
Why do you oppose people being responsible for their own actions, which seems to be the crux of your argument? Why do you make excuses. . .do you blame the fans if the football team screws up or is it on the players and coaches? Oh, I hear you. . ."that's different'. . . .actually. . .no it's not. . . .
And here is the link to the 4 times statement.
Again, I don't see the necessity for hostility. I don't know where you think I said she didn't break the law, what we are talking about is the treatment of poor people in our justice system and how if you have the money, you won't be staying in jail for over 2 weeks for an arraignment for failing to appear. And if people don't have transportation, how can they get to a job? The bus system especially in St. Louis doesn't run all night and if you can't get to work, you can't keep your job. How are they suppose to take responsible for their own actions when they don't have the resources to do so? If she gets a job, you'll complain that she shouldn't be driving or using public money for a bus system. Then when she doesn't get a job, she is lazy and no good for society. The poor just can't win.
Again this is a bigger problem than race. It's the socioeconomic status of people and the issue that arises just based solely on survival and trying to make a better life which that lady was trying to do. We should make the system a little more lenient on the people who are most vulnerable to systematic abuses which tend to be poorer people.
