ESPN's early top 25 for 2015

I am shocked. Shocked I tell you. ONLY TWO SEC TEAMS IN THE TOP 10???? LOL

TCU #1. Wow. Just wow. Big 12 with two of the top 3 teams. Wow.

Pardon me, but Baylor replaces a QB. No way they're #3 in the country starting out. No way. This is like ranking S Carolina last year, who also was replacing a QB>

Is this the mea culpa for TCU? The timing of this is a much needed recruiting boost for the Big 12. I won't complain about Baylor being ranked too high because if it isn't them it will be someone else.

TCU is built to win a title next year. Man they are returning a lot from a very good team this year.

A team that's underrated IMO is Auburn. Muschamp is going to do wonders with that defense. I also think they are upgrading at QB. Marshall is a good QB but is limited in the passing game.

A team that's overrated IMO is Oklahoma State. They beat a crumbling Oklahoma team and average Washington team at the end of the season, and now they are good?

He did a good job last year picking this year's ranking. Last year at this time he had 1 Florida State, 2 Alabama, 3 Oregon, and he missed on Ohio State at 9.

What would be your top 5?

Mine would be 1) TCU 2) Ohio State 3) Arizona State 4) USC 5) Auburn

Laughing at Alabama returning TWO starters on offense, but still being ranked #10.

When you look at what other SEC teams are losing, Arkansas is set up for a nice season.

Always never too early to look forward to 2015 season! Looking at TOP 5 schedule:

  • TCU has a tricky season opener @ Minnesota.  Jerry Kill's doing a fantastic job at Minnesota.
  • Baylor's toughest game is @ TCU.
  • tOSU open @ Virginia Tech.  I foresee a blowout game for the Buckeyes.  Again, schedule's very favorable for another undefeated season.
  • USC play @ Arizona St, @ Notre Dame, @ Oregon.
  • Oregon plays 2nd game of season @ Michigan St.

I already miss college football

My Top 3 for next season:

Ohio St

TCU

Michigan St

SEC Teams I like:  Arkansas and Tennessee

PAC conference, again strongest top to bottom, but can't pin point a runaway top tier team to compete for Playoff spot.

They found a QB. He's pretty good. They will be a big problem for us next year.

Not sure I'd call tOSU a miss. . .

I am sad OU isn't ranked high again, always good to see them under perform. . .
