Elite 11/The Opening Running Thread

I’m late getting this thread going after a bit of a long travel day, but I will be live on the ground here in Frisco for the Elite 11 workouts and The Opening. 

Texas Commit Hudson Card is competing in the Elite 11 and Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger is one of the camp counselors this year.

Ehlinger and the other camp counselors took part in the Pro Day simulation. Ehlinger won the competition over Jalen Hurts, Shea Patterson, and D’Eriq King. Here is some footage from Sam’s workout courtesy of Mike Roach.

FYI: Card is on the same roster as Texas target Johnny Wilson.

Was told that Card graded out 42/50 on his Pro Day workout this evening. 

Some of the 247 guys said his workout would placed him in the upper half of the competition. Not a bad start heading into Day 2.

Back at The Star this morning. The quarterbacks are working out the kinks for their pending 7 on 7 competition.

Chatting up some of the 247 guys here in the media area and they are still raving about Tyler Owens.  Was also interesting to hear them defend their rankings bump when they took a ton of flack

This kid is always working on something. Won the pro day drill between counselors last night and is out here working on mechanics today.
