And he hasn't come over to Hornsports during this time. That certainly differs from what Mcphaul (and several others) has been reporting and certainly what Jesus reported on IT today. He's 100% Mack is ou
I like El Mahico but I get the idea whoever he talks to is more on the Bellmont side of things, and he's being used for some smoke. He's been claiming things like Mack can do whatever he wants..that its totally up to him, and that Saban told UT no several months ago...which no one else has heard and the complete and total opposite is being reported elsewhere in pretty great detail. Not even Ketch on OB (who has been very conservative on everything ) thinks Mack will be back
Patterson is getting paid $1 mil +. At that level you are expected to make tough calls and be right.you don't think retaining mack would be a tough call?[

I'm sick and tired of paying a football coach $5mil+ to get rolled every single year by the likes of Bronco Mendenhall and paying an AD seven figures to sidestep tough decisions. The softness in the program has started at the top and permeated the entire program.
Its time for the bullsh!t to end. Make tough calls, reap rewards for being a leader and pay the price for having bad judgment. Its what Texas should be about.
OK what if he is right.. I mean what if? It could become the 2014 Mack Brown farewell tour...El Mahico followed up in the thread and said the 2 people talked to are convinced Mack will be back... I am convinced he is being fed BS information for sure now.
As in farewell to the fanbase? It could become the 2014 Mack Brown farewell tour...
If Mack comes back, It will be one of those most destructive events in program history. I pray to God he steps aside. I don't want to have to turn on a new AD who is just days into his position. PLEASE, Mack, do not do this to the program. Enough damage has been done since the game passed Mack by. If Mack comes back I think he will be the most reviled figure in the history of UT athletics. The inevitable blowouts next year will be unbearable and will tear the program apart.El Mahico followed up in the thread and said the 2 people talked to are convinced Mack will be back... Sure it does. If we beat Baylor we win at least a co championship. If OSU loses we win outright. This makes no since!
None at all, he's playing up the smoke to provide the appearance Mack is making this decision on his own. At this point, it's probably the only smoke that really matters. With the loss to Auburn on Saturday, I'm not really sure if Saban really has any reason to care anymore about "distractions" in the form of questions about Texas. It's probably in his best interests at this point for the Texas stuff to come out into the open honestly....at least it will be once Alabama is completely eliminated from any chance of playing in the MNC game. This makes no since!
Which is what was in that thread link I posted. Interesting........El Mahico source is currently a Texas coach. Don't believe everything you hear. Especially when that coach is most likely done at Trxas when the new coach comes in
