I know I know its early but wow they look pretty good vs Baylor.

Some big pass plays vs the Baylor defense.

The wife is a Bama alum.  Waiting on the Iron bowl.

TCU was more impressive, IMO, if we're comparing TCU and Baylor over the weekend.

Yea that why it is so interesting.  I think TCU is the better team too.  But Baylor won the head to head.  TCU's defense was better than I expected them to be.

Baylor is giving up alot of big plays to a TRUE freshman QB.

Mahomes in his 4th game against Baylor with 11 minutes to go.  (466 YDS, 4 TD, 1 INT).  Just set the freshman record in the big 12 for passing yardage.

45-34 now.

Kid is a baller.

OMG just threw another 50 yarder.  Tech may pull this out.

Its just one game but considering its only his 4th game and he was playing HS ball last year.  As a Longhorn im jealous of Tech

Petty is on the sideline for awhile now, after getting clocked in the jaw.  But Baylors defense is terrible.

Looks like they are calling this matchup "The Shootout"

Did I see that correctly?

They are using the old ou-Texas name?

We let them steal the name so certain people among us could feel good in the warm glow of PC?

That is pathetic all the way around

1200+ yards combined in this game.  Thats either impressive or embarassing, you pick

After this game, TCU for sure for the final four.  Baylors defense is a joke.

Hmm.  Yea here I go.

Why are we stuck with 2 QB's that need time to improve.  Heard is apparently way behind in his development, and is doubtful to be ready next year.  Swoopes isnt showing much improvement if any after 2 years (started 11 games)

Tech's true frosh QB, there was no redshirt.  In his 4th game (3 games really since he got knocked out Diggs early in the UT game) sets a Big 12 freshman record with 593 YDS, 6 TD, 1 INT  He wasnt expected to start either, but replaced the injured starter.  You could see this kid make his reads 1-3, glaring difference between him and Swoopes.

Maybe its the system.  Maybe bad luck in recruiting?

Watson.... #WhereIsTheQBDevelopment
