The Longhorn Coaching staff will begin signing their class in the morning..

Well this is a false statement.. Texas in the last two years, have only lost 1 player to the draft..

I have not had to worry about a class since Nicholson took over..

1st you have to understand the workings going on here...

Skip and Nicholson(Drew Bishop for the most part), have done a great job of doing their homework on which player they can develop and which player wants to attend The Unviersity of Texas..

Once the coaches are able to weed out these players.. they are able to go after the players that they want..

Skip and Nicholson know who to coach up these players..

Just sit back and enjoy the ride..

Huh? That's how college baseball recruiting works. Getting sure fire MLB draftees is pretty much worthless because they won't sign. You have to get players that will actually step on campus. There's obviously talent in the class because it's the 11th ranked class in the country with only 10 signees (it will be even higher at the end of the year once it accounts for players that head to the MLB).

True, but I'm pretty sure he was referring to a few years back not the past two years. There's no denying a few years back we were having trouble getting players on campus.

Not sure where you got the 11th rank class.. as they are only ranked 30th.. But this class compliments the last 2 classes very well...

That ranking is for the Freshmen Class that's on campus right now.... The #2 Ranking is for the class that are sophomores now..

This Class that just signed has not been fully rated yet..

Yeah, you are correct. My bad. I was thrown off by 11th because other publications had Texas  higher for the recent class. Collegiate baseball newspaper had us at 7.

No Sweat.. Just wanted to make sure that I did not miss something...

With these ranking, you have to take them with a grain of salt.. For Perfect Game, the more that a player plays in a Showcase or Tournament(Not All Select Teams do), then the higher the ranking is for that individual.. A Few of these players have not played that often in a Perfect Game Showcase or Tournament..
