Has anyone seen this update? JS was claiming the clinic directors complained to Patterson in writing last I tuned in, unless I am mistaken.

Never believed the report. JMO, but no Texas HS coach would say that to a reporter. Especially at a coaches clinic.
That said, I know many HS coaches who are convinced that Art Briles would have been a far better choice.
In the spirit of full disclosure, after David Shaw, Art Briles was my preferred choice.

One of our players Dad's is the one who got in touch with John Paul Young (think that's his name) and put him in contact with Jason Suchomel (OB) and Jeff Howe.(24/7) . .
The people from the coaches clinic are pissed and Hay-Suess' story is complete nonsense. . .if they actually were unhappy. . .they weren't, they were very happy .. . they wouldn't have sent a letter. . .they simply would not have invited CFS back .. . . more "look at me. . . I wannabe an insider and impress total strangers on the net so bad I'll sacrifice even the pretense of intellectual honesty" crap.. . .. .
The "reporter" (I hesitate calling him that) in question was not supposed to be at the event so he likely is the one.
It's fun to get players and their parents perspectives even though they come with their own biases too. . . .to pull back the curtain and realize the people who actually know. . . .know far more than internet experts. . .
