Greetings Gents,
In an effort not to patronize any posters upon this cool website, simply due to the burgeoning fact that intelligence just does not seem to be a lacking trait upon this forum at all.
This being said, does anyone have any related information (willing to share) in regards to the forthcoming DKR South End Zone expansion plans?
Just as many of you...I have had the foremost pleasure of participating upon many related UT Longhorn websites. I have witnessed countless threads involving countless themes etc.... But the aforementioned theme has always left me beyond intrigued. A few years past...upon BON (Burntorangenation) I did view a few pics of a proposed / completed South End Zone expansion. At that time, I must admit that these prospectives / concepts were indeed pretty cool....but then it seemed as though momentum just died down... and all plans, renderings, concepts, etc... just somehow faded away....
So you may now be asking, "just why is this guy interested in such details"? Well, my interest, is in lieu of seeing and hearing so many of UT's prospective recruits state "that they may be interested in attending such schools as ATM, Baylor, Oregon, you name it, where related activities such as new stadium construction and other related athletic facilities are now upon the fast track". In my view, it certainly seems at times during interviews that... some really highly regarded recruits act as though the stadium plans as per ATM...shall be to a degree that nothing nowhere could ever compete with them within the State of Texas....
Upon the other hand, I have also heard and read that "upon completion of the DKR South End Zone, that it could very well stand as the largest stadium in North America".
Gentlemen, to break it down a bit, I just sometimes get the sense that "Belmont" is just not doing enough in regards to relaying to any of our prospective recruits, that ATM just will not rein supreme in regards to football stadium plans and construction. As well as other related athletic related facilities. Oh well, maybe upon the hire of our new AD that all of these related stadium construction concepts shall one day spring forward....but what about now. Anyone? HOOK'EM!
