Did things just set up perfectly for Saban?

For those hoping to see Saban in burnt orange (which includes me), it's hard for me to imagine a cleaner way of things playing out than the last week. Bama loses and is out of the championship game. Baylor routes Texas when the Big 12 championship was right there for the taking.

If Saban was ever going to come here I just can't imagine things playing out any better.

Should be an interesting 24-48 hours.

I agree with you...things could have gotten more complicated if things hadn't worked out so cleanly for us. There is really nothing that matters standing in the way any longer.

Agree. UT/Baylor game for everything on the line and lose by 20. In fact, that is the most important step for change. Even if Saban is not hired, Mack is done. I do think everything sets up for a Saban hire now though. Should be an interesting week.

If he does my x-mas list is complete. I don't think he will though after playing for a conference championship. That's how the BMD's and Powers will view it anyway.
