Breaking from A&M: Darian Claiborne and Isaiah Golden have been dismissed from the Texas A&M football team

Hmm.... Is aggy starting to throw people under the bus in anticipation of the Stansbury mess gaining traction? That would be my guess.

Sumlin was given a choice.  They failed another drug test.

I meant Sumlin was not given a choice.  Drugs involved.

So what? Those guys had to have been failing drug tests for months. It's bullsh!t that Sumlin looks the other way for months and then at random decides to hold them accountable because the school has to start doing damage control in anticipation of the Stansbury indictment.

I withdraw my earlier comment about Sumlin being out of line for cracking down on failed drug tests.

The Eagle has learned Golden and Claiborne were arrested today on three charges each of aggravated robbery from an incident on May 23.

It was not drugs. Aggravated assault.
Aggravated robbery. Three charges each. Stansbury was aggravated assault. (I know, it's tough to keep up without a scorecard)

Press Release from CSPD:

On this date, as part of the on-going investigation, Detectives with the College Station Police Department were able to obtain arrest warrants for two suspects in this offense. Their investigation into this incident revealed the following information.

OMG. So, this was Claiborne's 3rd arrest in 6 mo.? I thought Golden dropped out in Jan/Feb with plans to go Juco. What's he doing hanging around College Station?

And I'm sure they were stone-cold sober when this happened.

Awesome.  Lodge,Boyd, and their parents ought to look at the police blotter before pulling the commitment trigger to Stumblin and his Swaggy environment..  The Stansbury thing is gonna get ugly

At least atm players now know where Sumlin draws the line...aggravated robbery it seems.  Guess he needs more Navy Seal style discipline exercises.
