Did Mack and Major get into it at Half?

Someone over on OB is saying there are rumors of a disagreement, but giving no details.

Anyone?

According to IT, at halftime, Mack told Major that is play calling *#%*#'ed and that he needed to keep running between the tackles. Major told Mack that his gameplay would work and a heated exchange ensued.

The problem was not so much the play calling, but the inability to execute the plays that were called. And that is a recruiting problem.

Major's game plan was pretty poor yesterday. Case should have plays called with short slants, drags etc called going over the middle and not the long across the field sideline passes. He just doesn't have the arm or talent to do that.

Malcolm probably should've carried the ball 35 times instead of 25.

From what I understand is that Mack was not happy with Majors speech at the SA Luncheon when he stated I call the plays my boss tells me to call. Calling Major out was somewhat premeditated.

Agree with the idea that MB needed more carries, but disagree about how Case should be used to attack Ds.

Case is so limited in arm strength and accuracy that throwing to the middle of the field is a bad bad BAD idea. He can't be trusted to hit an open WR with great regularity and when that is the case, you cannot throw to the middle as that means more players are around the ball. The ball takes so long to get there (relative to any live arm) which means defenders have a better chance to get a pick or PBU. A WR split out usually has 1 defender on him, meaning only 1 guy on D has a chance to make a play on the ball, making it a safer throw.

Bottom line? Case is garbage and never should have been recruited. Barring that, he never should have been allowed to return after attempting to transfer, or after his hissy fit against OU or after last years bowl incident or after deciding that mission work was more important that sumner camp.
