Guys, a Chicken Express just opened across the street. Fried gizzards and fries at 10pm? Very tempting.

Really can't go wrong with fried-anything at 10pm. I think most doctors agree with me on this.

Reata in Fort Worth has some damn good Southwestern food. Can't go wrong with their Jalapeno Cheddar Grits.

Staying with my brother and his family in Grand Prairie. Then moving to Austin in the fall!!!

Road trip to Jimmy's Food Store on Bryan for lunch. In the back of the store is where you order sandwiches. Ask them to show you where the wine room is. You will feel as if you are on a different planet. Right next to Jimmy's is Urbano Cafe. Stick your head in and check out their menu. Right next to Urbano is a small produce market where a number of high end restaurants get their produce.

After Jimmy's, head over to the Blue Goose on Greenville. You can check out some of the places on that part of Greenville as well as have a pretty good margarita and do some people watching at the Goose. If you want to make a day of it, you can run over to the Bush museum on the SMU campus. Over close to the SMU campus is Ozona which has decent margaritas and a pretty good CFS.

An alternative field trip would be Jimmy's, then Dealey Plaza, then Blue Goose. It's supposed to be crappy weather this Sunday. If you want something to do, The Grape on Greenville (across from Blue Goose) has what Texas Monthly considered the best burger in Texas. They only serve it for Sunday brunch and on Monday. Make reservations and head over there on Sunday and afterward head over to the Nasher. http://www.nashersculpturecenter.org/

Pastrami is Jewish. Jewish delis and Italian delis are very different. I haven't found a really good Jewish deli in Dallas.

If you're in Grand Prairie then I believe there's a few Tex-Mex places to eat off I-20 & 360 in Arlington. Gloria's (margarita's will have ya dancin' tha jig), Chuy's and Abuelo's is awesome. And you can never go wrong with Mi Cosina. And like the poster earlier said, Pappasita's is fantastic! Hope this helps!

I really like Mariano's for Tex-Mex. Hacienda Ranch or any of the same family.
