Desmond Harrison Academic Issue

We're all waiting for him to be cleared academically to practice again (he did not practice yesterday and today) but is anyone else worried? There was a lot of hoopla before he committed around his academics but I thought everything was cool with his eligibility.

Just wish UT would get this cleared up quick so the beast can take the field.

Mack is making it seem like it is no big deal but Harrison didn't practice today either. What the HELL?

Real concern that Harrison might not play this year. This is a cluster FU*K that is spiraling downward. Still hasn't practiced and with the team and Major Applewhite tonight, after practice was asked about Harrison's void on the field. Major's response was basically the show must go on eregardless of who plays or doesn't play. Mentioned a scenario at Alabama taught him that. I'm not getting a good feeling about this. If it all stems from these online classes he took from BYU then Texas should have their asses reamed for not vetting it properly.

The article from Chip Brown laid it out pretty cold. Question is going to be how much UT wants to spend to litigate this, and how fast can it happen.

IMO they need to spend whatever it is takes. This is embarrassing for UT and for DH, even though it is not his fault.

UT fans should brace themselves for a season without Harrison. What a shame and a big embarrassment on the part of UT (and partially BYU). The biggest blame is on Texas and their inability to research this. With all they did to supposedly "ensure" his eligibility....... All I can say is WTF? I feel really bad for the kid.
