My Dad used to always say " when elephants tussle the mice get squashed." That is exactly what I would say to Mack if I had the opportunity. It really looks to me and if Jamail is trying to turn the knife in the back of Hicks and his boys. He may well get a few Mil for his client but I may well cost Mack just about all of the political Capitol he has on t.he way out of the door. I also think the position Emeritas is just window dressing. Mack will hot foot It to ESPN as fast as he can. Rich Eisen told me BEFORE Mack won the MNC that ESPN had their eye on him. Just after that he started to appear more often on the Network.

You hit it straight on the head that Saban wouldn't come here if he thought Mack would be looking over his shoulder. Heck, were enticing partially because Saban knows Patterson won't even be looking over his shoulder. Patterson has other Dragons to slay that will take all of his time and efforts.

I hope it all works out and Mack stumbles out the door into the sunset. Hook'em

Kinda weak considering he already fleeced UT for 21.6++mm while he was fixing it. Then the severance isn't enough? True colors shining through. Thin Skinned insecure money grubbing former hero coming though. Make way.

I agree with cmb. What kind of satisfaction is there in kicking someone when they're down.

With all due respect, if he would just stay down people would stop kicking him.

Are you for hiring NS Driftwood? *I am on record as saying that we are inviting Godzilla into our village with regards to NS but he will win. *It is what he does. *So let's get it out for once and for all. *I want Texas to dominate the college football landscape. *I do not believe that MB is responsible for bringing class, or integrity or winning to the program and I sure as hell do not hold him in the same regard as DKR. *The institution is classy and has integrity. *It hired MB to be the HC. *He won a NC and had a great run. *The swan song has become tiresome. *He has been given the ability to leave with his class and integrity. *He alone has decided to make this an issue. *And lastly, between the time that he won a NC and played for another up and through Saturday at Baylor when he was still trying to 'fix it', I have one question: *Who broke it?

Not sure what this is all about (*). I'm on record (TOS) that change is needed and that Jim Harbaugh is #1 on my wish list (called it Nov. '12, still hoping). Saban is high on my list.

I respect Mack Brown, I respect Deloss Dodds, I respect Bill Powers and I think it's easy and cheap to sling mud.

Feel free to PM me if you're for real.

I suppose I was reading too much into your support for MB and for that I apologize. By the way, Harbaugh is my first choice as well.
