Demarcus Croaker is transferring

Not very surprising, he could never get minutes under Barnes. Croaker has a great offensive skillset but never bought in on the defensive end.

Wish Croak the best of luck and can't blame him. He's got plenty to offer another hoops program.

He's at the game tonight in the crowd and looks like he's having fun.

No hard feelings from either side, from what i see. Good kid with good offensive skills. Just caught up in the numbers.

Unconditional release from his scholarship.  He really liked FSU at one point - wonder if he will head back to Florida to play ball?

He should, because he now has a baby son in Orlando.

I expect him to sign with FSU, UCF, or maybe USF to be closer to family.  Good luck to the kid.  Time to re-prioritize his life.

Sounds like he should have transferred prior to the season to be eligible elsewhere for an entire season (after sitting out the required year). Guess he thought he would get more playing time and have a bigger impact. Good luck to him elsewhere, hopefully lands back in Florida close to his kid. One more scholarship for next year? I guess signing period has passed, is there unsigned talent out there?

This has been in the works for quite some time. No surprise the Barnes gave him an unconditional release.
