If Narduzzi declines, who else should we look at? Greg Robinson has done a decent job but I really like Mason from Stanford.

 
Narduzzi and Pruitt will be home-run hires. The DC process is almost academic with Saban. There's a very low chance he screws up the selection, and even if he does, who cares, he can run the defense himself.

Mostly looking for a guy who will be able to wow recruits. A background in defending the spread would obviously be a plus. As would a history with Saban, who the DC will have to understand will be running the show.

Narduzzi says "Broyles award" in a living room. Pruitt is an ace recruiter, has dominated with FSU, and already has experience under Saban. Mason already runs a 3-4 at Stanford, so there isn't much of a shift there. Pruitt and Mason are DBs guys, making them somewhat redundant with Nick, although I hardly think that's a huge deal (Narduzzi is a LB guy, BTW)

I have a hard time picking one over the other, as all three seem like fantastic candidates. I doubt the DC search needs to go past those three.
