The gift Gresham has been given is that he gets to realize that soon after making the decision. A lot of us don't realize we have made the wrong decision until a decade or two later. I wish him the best. I also wish that in the future kids look at him as an example as to what happens when you commit before you really commit.Cracks me up when people think that 17-18 yos always make the brightest decisions.
Sometimes you are pressured to commit. Hell sometimes you commit cause you want it just in case something falls through. Like you said he's making a decision that affects rest of his life. Esch....I getting close to 40 and my wife keeps waiting for me to grow up.
I don't mind kids looking around, you need to make the best decision for urself. Don't commit until ur sure but they are teens. So is this kid worth another look? I was 17 once and couldn't figure out who to marry. They're young men preparing to marry a school for 4 or 5 years. It's an eternity to them and they want to be as sure as they can. Heck, I picked the same college my best friend did. Great reason huh?
Cracks me up when people think 17-18 year olds should not know what "commitment" means.Cracks me up when people think that 17-18 yos always make the brightest decisions.
