What's the excuse this week? Two Fridays have come and gone with no Crossfire. Since this became a pay-site, the content has been miserable.

I have been a member of this site for almost 3 years before Crossfire before & most of you and I can say that there is more and better content on Horn Sports than there has ever been.  Your comment could not be more wrong.  Crossfire is a decent read but there is tons of content if you would only look up and read.

We always appreciate feedback from our members and we are continuously trying to provide quality content for them - that is a guarantee. Regarding Crossfire, it will not be released this week.  We are running a bit behind with other content pieces we intend on running and we are completely backed up.  If there were relevant nuggets of information on things pertaining to the football team, etc. we would have shared them already.  Hopefully folks are here for the collection of articles and the solid community as opposed one article.

now that the purging seems to be done, there's really not a helluva lot going on until practice starts. you can only invite FOB out to lunch and write about it so many times.

The offseason is typically a time of no news or slow news.  Longhorns have had our share of 'real news' this off season, some was good and some we wish had gone a different way.  In regard to the news that was released, there is not really anything else to say about it.

Darrell is not going to fabricate 'news'.  Therefore, the staff is writing articles, and they are quite good.  Have you read them?

I check several sites, none of them pay, and many of the threads are beating dead horses because there is nothing of interest to discuss.  Blame the off season, but don't blame the messenger.  This is a phenomenal group of people who contribute to the feeling of community that we share.  I had been looking forward to Crossfire, as well, but I couldn't imagine what could be said that hasn't already been said.

neillmck, just so happens to be one of our PREMIUM MEMBERS.​

therefore, if i may be allowed to interject upon this conversation.. he has every right to be concerned, as per any delay vs disruption, of certain exclusive content​

that may or may not have been advertised as per his sign on date.  i see that a few of our mates are climbing in as per their arbitrary statements,​

but you are not willing to present our member with the benefit of the doubt?  many of our members are extremely busy with their jobs vs family functions.​

they do not harbor a large amount of time to chime in to HS, upon an effort to acclimate themselves with the entire HS format.  ​

therefore, they adjust their schedules to be able to accommodate mcphaul's much acclaimed CROSSFIRE.​

darrell, is much loved throughout.  therefore, many of our members have signed on to HS, just for the sole purpose of obtaining his much anticipated input.​

therefore, the responsibility should fall squarely upon the shoulders of our gracious management, to alert us beforehand.. upon any content interruptions vs delays, etc..   ​

This probably came from the seven headed hydra FOB concept talked about on prior threads! With that said, probably the garbage man who empties the trash at Belmont said this to his wife on a phone call during his break. Really, SHA did you see this somewhere?

Well, luckily, cinch bugs haven't challenged me for ownership of my house (yet?) and I don't know about ice cream with scotch...I prefer bourbon and

branch for my poison...but the part about "a place to relax and enjoy good conversation with fellow UT fans".  Those are my thoughts, exactly.  That's

why I'm here.  Well stated, amigo.
