Crossfire with mcphaul the first installment

My top 2 candidates are Luck and Patterson but i think Jurich should get an interview.
McPhaul reporting tonight that Luck is the guy and Steve Patterson (ASU) a close second.

If Steve Patterson comes to Texas I will light myself on fire.
I would like to know why as well. Patterson has similar qualifications, and is maybe even better qualified that Luck to be the AD. What are his negatives?

Very interesting read. I guess the Saban stories have some real steam, which is not what I believed before.

I think McPhaul has been pimping Patterson as a viable candidate for a while. His resume certainly has my attention and I don't think I would have a problem if he were brought onboard.

First post here, thanks to McPhaul for unintentionally pointing me in the direction of hornsports.

So I have to ask. Say Saben takes the job and UT wants to hire top notch coordinators to help out, are current head coaches willing to take a coordinator job? Is it considered a "demotion" for them? Or would they welcome the chance to work with a HOM coach and once more bask in the glory that is Texas football?

Is anyone concerned about Luck when it omens to his ties to WVU?

Will he want to add more schools on the east coast (UCF and Cincy) so WV has travel partners?

When realignment comes up again, would he be hesitant to move Texas to a different conference/Independent unless he knows WV is taken care of?

This is my biggest concern with Luck.
