Bomb...according to Perreira it wasn't a football move. He wasn't running he was falling to the ground. He hit the ground and the ball came loose.

That's the former head of nfl officiating opinion.

I can at least understand that argument. I disagree with it, but I can understand it. He's falling to the ground but he takes 3 steps and reaches for the endzone. What's considered a "football move"?

Bomb...don't know. When I was watching I thought it was a HOF type catch. If I was Boys fan I'd be livid.

I wish replay was used to overturn the glaring mistakes, not the ticky tack stuff like this.

I thought he was reaching out to the goal line. Bad call, perhaps.

Dallas lost because Green Bay had a better quarterback and a better defensive secondary than Dallas does. They also have better management.

Romo is a tough and gutsy guy, and deserves a lot of credit, but he is just not as good as Rodgers or a half dozen other quarterbacks.

The Dallas secondary is a step behind all of the time.

Although I see some improvement in Dallas management recently, I still think it is not up to snuff.

Garland gets it. Pereira explained it clearly on the post game show. He didn't control it to the ground and thru the catch.

I think the rule sux for the record. Change the rule.

That's a crock. He controlled it to the point of using the ball with his arm to try to score. At that point, the catch is over and we're on to the next move made by the player.

With rule or no rule, it was a catch.

This guy is a little worked up  , but he's right on the money. The rule says that a football move is made if the "ball is advanced". There's no denying that Dez advanced the ball several yards after making the catch.

I agree with this. The thing I find baffling is they overturned the call. No way there was indisputable evidence there.

I'm really struggling with the NFL's definition of a "football move". This catch is good in NCAA football.

Not a fan of Dallas or any team in the NFL but after seeing the replay (I didn't watch the game but I do watch the news), that was a catch.

According to the rule (explained by NFL official in ESPN) Dez mistake was extending because at that point he lost/showed lack of control. He should have just gone down.

He said If you dont like the rule then NFL should change but according to the rule that was not a catch because he didnt maintain control all the way through.

At the end of the day they could have made a stop there was more than enough time.
