Hope it's ok for me to drop this here. Two nuggets I picked up today.

1. Our MLB incoming recruit from Dallas has been seen in Austin recently. Apparently, he's gained some 15 lbs of weight and is still just as ripped as before. He's put serious time in the weight room this summer.

2. John Burt will start at WR. A friend of mine who watched a couple of practices says John Burt is the most talented receiver he's seen since Metcalf. The word he used was "spellbinding." Another description used was "just on another level than everybody else."

If true, imagine a year or two down the road when we have Burt and Johnson in the same WR bunch. Wow.
