Sometimes I forget that for every 10+ win team there's a squad out there just getting absolutely caned. The offset to every one of these "star" coaches with a great record that we've been discussing is a guy going 1-10 and being run out of town by mobs with torches and pitchforks.

The worst ever? Really? The guy's averaging 390yds total offense. That's better than Michigan this year. I agree that 2-26 isn't what you'd call a hot streak, but New Mexico hasn't won a conference championship (in the mountain west no less) for almost 50 years.

As if the guy's off-the-field problems werent' enough, somebody took the time to write an article naming him the worst coach EVER! Couldn't he have just let the record speak for itself?
