Confirmed: Zaycoven Henderson has decommitted

I Understand he left but do not understand the reason or why he decom. Do you see where the other defense in the big 12 are in numbers..

He said when he committed to us before that it didn't matter who the coach was, he was committing to the University of Texas.

Guess he lied.

Kind of puzzling if you think about the improvements that will come on defense that a defensive player would not want to be a part of that. Kid must be a little confused.

At this point, I'm in the mindset of "let them go". The attitude in Austin is about to change. Strong is going to get these guys playing with the kind of ruthless aggression that any future defensive prospect would like to be a part of. If our current recruits aren't ready to accept that challenge, to enter into the unknown and come out a warrior, then good riddance. I wish him the best wherever he goes, I just know he'll come to regret the decision in his later years. Strong is a defensive mastermind. He made two and three star prospects play like four and five star athletes at Louisville. I know he's going to do the same here. And when he proves that this season, we won't see another player the caliber of Zaycoven Henderson walk away.

Not good. This one actually stings as he is not like the other 2 who just left.

I think the only way to really make them regret the decision to leave would be to win the big show in the next 3 to 4 years. I figured we'd lose a recruit or two. I do not want to see a mass exodus! that would suck! The bad thing is, this could have a snowball effect. We do not need that.

No way to minimize this loss. Championships are won with QB, OL & DL. He graded out very well by all accounts. I'm sure he built up a relationship with Bo Davis during his recruitment, so I'm certainly not stunned, but definitely disappointed.
