Agreed, Hip. Heck, Mack had an on campus the weekend he was out if I'm remembering correctly. Id probably think less of Cumbie if he opted to peace out on his current employer before signing with a new one. If he's as big of a rising star as everyone seems to indicate, he'll undoubtedly get a HC opportunity next - we wouldn't want him shutting down his UT recruiting commitments before anything was official.

That said, I do think this is probably a difficult decision. He'd be stepping in to a situation where the fans/bmds have very little patience and very high expectations. Anyone with half a brain would pause to wonder if they're setting themselves up for failure given the circumstances surrounding the program.

My problem with this is if Cumbie dose say NO. There is a pattern there were it is getting easy for top coaches to tell Texas thanks but no thanks. I remember a time that didn't happen when Texas comes knocking they would get there man. My friends y'all have a blessed week.
