Welp, if this doomed conference insists on dragging on, time to get that exit fee money ready and peace out.

Adding teams quickly is a sign that there is likely an early exit for UT & 0U
Not sure it's a Power 5 conference after UT and ou exit... but whatever they think. Seems like it is going to be the SEC and the B10/Pac12/ACC alliance and then everybody else. There is definitely some posturing in the works. Money will likely have to exchange hands. Cut the check.
Pretty much. By adding those teams, you're basically creating an upgraded AAC.Not sure it's a Power 5 conference after UT and ou exit... but whatever they think. Seems like it is going to be the SEC and the B10/Pac12/ACC alliance and then everybody else.
Hopefully, we’re not there still.lol, watch BYU win the conference in the first year.
The big question is will the BIG12 champion have an opportunity for a bye in the expanded playoffs. I wouldn't think so, but the schedule could be compelling enough to have a good BIG12 team make it into the expanded playoffs. Not sure it's a Power 5 conference after UT and ou exit... but whatever they think. I agree if they have a good enough record they could be one of the 12. However, if the big 12 like WV decided that they don’t want to expand the playoffs, even if they’re undefeated they’ll drop from 4th to 7th after they curb stomp the other team in the championship game. Ask TCU, Baylor or Cincinnati. The big question is will the BIG12 champion have an opportunity for a bye in the expanded playoffs. I think that the BIG12 including WVU will be on board with the expansion as long as they work out the financials in a way that they see as benefitting them.I agree if they have a good enough record they could be one of the 12. I'm pretty sure this is our last go-round.Hopefully, we’re not there still.
Me, too. This needs to be the fat lady singing time for UT in the Big 12.I'm pretty sure this is our last go-round.
Seems like if they thought the BIG12 could somehow hold onto UT & OU for another year they wouldn't be moving this quickly.I'm pretty sure this is our last go-round.

I think this means the TX & OU exit terms are mostly known and that there will be a new BIG12 grant of rights agreement that runs at least as long as the ACC grant of rights.
After UT and OU leave the big 12 and BYU joins, the big 12 will have 1 national championship in the last 75 years. BYU had one in the 80s. The Pac 12 and ACC have more in this century. You can't tell me this revamped Big 12 isn't a P5 league when you look at the ACC and Pac 12.
