Briles and Mora. No thanks. Both have proved nothing, IMO.

SignUp Now!Briles is certainly the simplest option. The more I think about it, the more I think Briles needs to be the guy. I just do not see us waiting long enough for one of the NFL guys or title game coaches. Meyer isn't coming. I doubt Mora would considering he just passed on his alma mater a couple of weeks ago. Once you eliminate those names Briles is pretty much the best one standing.
mora jr is what i expect, not in the least bit what i want.
i do not see how this is complicated.

who gives a shit where or what they are currently doing.
go to each one with the same package.
8.5 with incentives... yes or no?
#1 says no, then to #2, etc...
if you get to #5 and still no coach.
go back to #1
9 mm with incentives... yes or no?
in this day and age you simply cant do a meh hire. not this University and certainly not with the resources that are available.
my guess is that this decision will be over thought.
I'm confused too. As such, I'm not buying that limited list. Any list without Fisher and Malzahn under serious consideration are/seem inaccurate. Not picking on McPhaul, but have to believe the list is:Harbaugh
Briles
Mora jr.
In that order
If it were not for Fisher coaching in the MNC, he would would looked at as a more viable candidate.
Texas does not want to wait that long to name the next HC. Which confuses me b/c Harbaugh could be tied up for an extensive time too?
Bobby Burton, is that you?I'm confused too. As such, I'm not buying that limited list. Any list without Fisher and Malzahn under serious consideration are/seem inaccurate. Not picking on McPhaul, but have to believe the list is:1. Harbaugh
Followed by (in no order):
Fisher
Meyer
Malzahn
Is it your opinion that Briles would leave before the BCS game? If not, then you have to wait for him just as long as the other coaches in the championship game (less than a week difference in game days).
Briles keeps coaching Heisman caliber (and winner) QB's and has Baylor - B A Y L O R - a top 10 to 15 team in the nation. Briles is a stud.Briles and Mora. No thanks. Both have proved nothing, IMO.
Not saying I agree or disagree, but Briles won the Big XII, at Baylor. Not sure why some continue to disregard that.Briles and Mora. No thanks. Both have proved nothing, IMO.
It is the list Bobby posted today:Do you disagree with that list?
Funny Friday night he was told Mack will return for another year. So aint a whole lot of trust in who he's hearing shit fromIt is the list Bobby posted today:
I'm told that the Longhorns are focusing on precious few candidates.
I am told they are:
Jimbo Fisher – Florida State
Gus Malzahn – Auburn
Urban Meyer – Ohio State
Jim Harbaugh – San Francisco 49ers
