Arch Manninig performed wonderfully in relief of the injured Quinn Ewers. This week, he gets his first start. With the weapons he has at his disposal, he should find a lot of success.

I fully expect ULM to try to bring pressure on Manning, force him into bad decisions and bad throws.

The defense should also find success in this one and hopefully they come away with multiple turnovers.

The next two games should be easy wins and gives Ewers more time to heal. But this team must remain focused.

This week's games:

#24 Illinois at #22 Nebraska

Florida at Mississippi State

#11 USC at #18 Michigan

Georgia Tech at #19 Louisville

Arkansas at Auburn

#12 Utah at #14 Oklahoma State

TCU at SMU

#6 Tennessee at #15 ou

Arizona State at Texas Tech

UCLA at #16 LSU

TIEBREAKER – ULM at Texas. Guess final score.

Nebraska - another big 10 snooze fest.

Florida - how bad is Florida? they can't be that bad 🙀

Michigan - will they get spanked twice in 1 year at the Big House? Not if they can run the ball

Louisville - it's pronounced "Loo-a-vil". They win big

Auburn - too close to call for these SEC bottom feeders. going with home team

Oklahoma State - 2 big 12 contenders duking it out. Another, Gundy put up or shut up game.

SMU - rivalry game. going with home team.

Tennessee - ouSux

Arizona State - if they can run the ball, they win

LSU - bruins get badly bruised

TIEBREAKER – ULM 6 Texas 52

I try to avoid making predictions.

Arch has another great game. This WR core is ridiculously talented. Owens plays a lot and the game starts slowing down for him too.

Defense holds another opponent to below 10.

Texas 52
ULM 9

Texas specific predictions:

Texas banged up at RB and the healthiest/most skilled RB is Jerrick Gibson. ULM is light upfront on the D-line. I think we see a lot of Gibson in the power run game, 10-15 rushes
- Gibson goes over 100 yards

No way ULM can keep up with our skill talent and Arch will distribute the ball effectively. Sark will look to get him plenty of quality passing reps and I also look for multiple WRs to have good games once again.
- Arch with TDs to 3 different receivers

ULM has a run heavy offense and despite being far behind on the scoreboard, I think they continue to run the ball at a heavy clip. I think we will devote resources to stop the run and leave our DBs on an island. Defense slows the running attack significantly but will face 30 plus attempts.
- ULM goes over 100 yards on the ground, <150 through the air

Let me add, Texas gets a defensive touchdown in this game. Special teams could as well.

I like this one as well. ULM will be forced into some obvious pass situations but they also throw the majority of their passes short - look for someone to bait a short pass and jump it. Potential for a pick 6.

Silas Bolden has shown his ability to make a lot of people miss in a small area. He nearly broke a punt return last weekend. I wouldn't be surprised to see him take one to the house this week (or a short pass and run for him for his first UT TD).

what is the o/u on the number of plays before ULM tries a trick play?
