Common Man Prediction Thread – Baylor

If you're right, this will be a long disappointing season. So I hope your pick ends up embarrassing you. JK, maybe. Or did I miss any sarcasm? 🤘
Hope am wrong to but D had been carrying us against food & goatropers

Folks, we've scored 30+ points in each game we've played. I'm having a hard time believing suddenly we're going to stop at 10 because Baylor.

Maybe we'll be a little better than Texas State. lol

Agree. Quinn has been a bit inconsistent, but to think we score no offensive TDs is a little cray cray to me.

I went back and watched a little Baylor tape and honestly, Wyoming might be better than them.

its Friday so that means it time take a dump or get off the pot

the Horns overcome homer officiating and pull out a squeaker

Horns 28

Bears  26
I’ve seen badly officiated games.   But I’ve seen 1 college game in my life that I was certain beyond a reasonable doubt was fixed.  It was Grant Teaff’s final game against Texas in Waco.    Even one of Baylor’s players said “I guess they wanted to give Coach a goodbye present,” or words to that effect.

Boy do I remember that game I almost put a sand wedge thru the TV

The ok st game when Charlie Strong was the coach. Referee runs into Charlie and calls a penalty on him along with a couple of other agregious calls.

4 games into the season and we look like we have a potential John Mackey winner at TE...I dont think their is a LB in the country that can stay with him and they aren't going to bring him down with arm tackles

I knew a guy (Tech Grad) who knew one of the refs who did that game. He asked him about it and the guy replied something like "You think we were going to let Teaff lose his last game?" The worst called game I ever watched.

I'm not sure who paid the refs off Pickens or disgruntled Texas big cigars but that was the 2nd worse called game, only behind Teaff's last game.

Texas goes for >200 yards rushing with at least 1 100 yd rusher

Very close to the rushing total - 175 for the team

Texas defense secures 2 ints

1 of the 2. Manny Muhammed almost got it done for me.

Special teams secures the blocked kick or return this week

A fingernail away from a block and a shoe string away from a return.
