Coaching Search

What McPhaul isn't talking about here, and I encourage him to elaborate some, is that Patterson has called both Mangino and Mike Sherman. They're apparently in Patterson's top 4.
I kid, I kid . . .
I was seriously about to get angry.

The search has. But, who's search? If things change at Bama, Jimbo could end up there and Smart moving to FSU.
Sexton is all over this.
OK then we do keep quite unless it is smoke....if it is smoke, I will still keep quite! :)

Very exciting. I would love the old man but Harbaugh is my favorite because hes alittle younger and seems to really do a great job developing Qbs. I think whoever gets the job needs to have some track record of developing QBs or bring someone in who does. Thats where the game is headed. Hell even Aggy isnt bad when the QB is good.

If Sexton is able to move a couple of his guys around, all the while getting them big pay raises, he gets to take more home to Mama. Agents are payed on a percentage of the contract. He wants each of his guys at top paying programs. If Sexton his driving the Bus on all these negotiations, well,.......

I've had the same approach that i've had since the beginning of all the Saban stuff. I do not have a lot of connected sources but I have one who is close to Moffit that I trust. He has insisted since October that Saban was the #1 target. When I spoke to him the other day, he said nothing has changed and he still believes he's very much in play. He hasn't been wrong in his info. He said before the year Mack had 3 scenarios to return for 2014. 1) Win the conference and go to the Fiesta Bowl. 2) Receive an at large bid to a BCS Bowl 3) Beat OU and win 10 or more games.

I still have the wait and see what happens approach, especially after Mack's ability to stone wall those in charge. Powers needs to get out of the way of Athletics IMHO.

Thanks for sharing. I think we all agree that Powers needs to stay out of it and let Patterson do his job.
