I've had the same approach that i've had since the beginning of all the Saban stuff. I do not have a lot of connected sources but I have one who is close to Moffit that I trust. He has insisted since October that Saban was the #1 target. When I spoke to him the other day, he said nothing has changed and he still believes he's very much in play. He hasn't been wrong in his info. He said before the year Mack had 3 scenarios to return for 2014. 1) Win the conference and go to the Fiesta Bowl. 2) Receive an at large bid to a BCS Bowl 3) Beat OU and win 10 or more games.
I still have the wait and see what happens approach, especially after Mack's ability to stone wall those in charge. Powers needs to get out of the way of Athletics IMHO.
