The search should be zeroing in on Jimbo Fisher.
The search has. But, who's search? If things change at Bama, Jimbo could end up there and Smart moving to FSU.

Sexton is all over this.

Well untill you tell us it's over we will continue to believe. Let also remember in all this football talk we have a damn good basketball team.

My friends y'all have a great weekend.

Since I have been married for over a decade, I have lost all abilities of reading between the lines! lol

I have already said this on another thread. It has come out that the current UT coaches have been told they won't be retained. How could they be told that unless a new coach is already in play and behind the scenes has his own coaches in place. How could MB tell them that when he is basically gone. Just a thought.

I read that on Inside Texas and I don't think there's any credible info. to support a coach has already been hired and is calling the shots. It seems more likely that Patterson knows most of them aren't going to be retained by any of the candidates being considered so he told them to look elsewhere. The ones he hasn't told are probably because he wants them to stick around to keep recruiting and maybe thinks highly enough of them to allow the new coach, whomever it ends up being, the opportunity to retain them.

What McPhaul isn't talking about here, and I encourage him to elaborate some, is that Patterson has called both Mangino and Mike Sherman. They're apparently in Patterson's top 4.

I kid, I kid . . .
