Who is the leading candidate to fill the vacant head coaching position at Texas?
Let me put it to you this way, it ain't over.
The search has. But, who's search? If things change at Bama, Jimbo could end up there and Smart moving to FSU.The search should be zeroing in on Jimbo Fisher.
I have a hard enough time reading the lines but I think I can handle the laying low part.Read between the lines gentlemen and lay low for awhile.
That would be wild! LolThe search has. But, who's search? If things change at Bama, Jimbo could end up there and Smart moving to FSU.
Sexton is all over this.
Well untill you tell us it's over we will continue to believe. Let also remember in all this football talk we have a damn good basketball team.Who is the leading candidate to fill the vacant head coaching position at Texas?

I read that on Inside Texas and I don't think there's any credible info. to support a coach has already been hired and is calling the shots. It seems more likely that Patterson knows most of them aren't going to be retained by any of the candidates being considered so he told them to look elsewhere. The ones he hasn't told are probably because he wants them to stick around to keep recruiting and maybe thinks highly enough of them to allow the new coach, whomever it ends up being, the opportunity to retain them.I have already said this on another thread. It has come out that the current UT coaches have been told they won't be retained. How could they be told that unless a new coach is already in play and behind the scenes has his own coaches in place. How could MB tell them that when he is basically gone. Just a thought.
