I would not be surprised if a new DL coach wasn't announced until after NSD II.

With the vacant spot, they've filled it with Carrington until the new hire is made. Carrington is a very valuable recruiting asset.

I think they will definitely have the guy hired by then. Too much risk with things falling through to just have a handshake agreement. I must say it appears as though we are hiring someone who is currently employed.

Current Bears players are pushing for Baylor associate head coach Joey McGuire to be elevated to the top spot. McGuire, a one-time head coach at Cedar Hill High School, has worked for Rhule for three seasons.

Yep, it's too bad. This is the second time McGuire's son has gotten in the way of coming to Texas. Charlie Strong tried to hire him, but his son was in his senior year.

I have no idea how accurate this is. But this website says he makes 100k. I believe that. I'm sure he gets some bonuses or something on the side. LSU almost hired him away last year and he was promoted. I'm sure he gets paid a pretty penny.

Would you believe Carrington started out at $37K at UT? CTH remedied that in Year 2 I believe.

I don't think Carrington's salary goes up when he switches roles. He's at $100K as Coach said above. I'm sure CTH bonuses the shit out of him though.

Good to know. Thanks for the responses @CoachEmUp64. I figured his salary is public information but I didn't find anything on a super quick google search.
