From twitter linked to UCFs rivals page:

Cincinnati coach tells recruit they're joining the Big 12 next year.

Is Cincinnati telling recruits they're joining the Big 12?

JUCO DT Terrell Clinkscales says that's what he was told by Bearcats DB coach Steve Clinkscale, who just happens to have a similar last name.

Clinkscale, a Chicago native attending Dodge City C.C. in Kansas, tweeted this late Friday night:

"I met coach Clinkscales at Cincinnati. Them bearcats going to the big 12 next year"

Big 12 won't survive with out some kind of expansion. Cincy and UCF at least expand the market for recruiting.

Cincy would be a good fit for the Big XII, but There is no chance they will be there next year.

I don't understand the fascination with expanding into others areas for "recruiting" reasons. The State of Texas has plenty of recruits for UT. If we just got our act together, we could get these kids. We don't need to recruit other parts of the country.

The kid has since deleted the tweet but the damage is done.

This would be a craptastic move.

It would not be just for Texas it would help other teams in the Conf.

Bringing Cincy in just doesn't sound very exciting. Of course seeing Cincy and Tuberville go to Lubbock for a game could be intriguing.

Cincy will up its game in the XII. It is a great place to go for a game and a knowledgeable fan base. Would you rather travel to Ames or Manhatten to watch a game or Cincinnati?

It fits the Big XII footprint well. Plus remember they also have a strong basketball team that would be a suitable replacement for losing Missouri.
