What do you and your family have for traditions?

One of our traditions is that I have pulled from the gospels to create a story of the birth of Jesus. I read it before we open presents and I pass around frankincense, myrrh, and gold as I read the story.

Do you have any special traditions?

Merry Christmas and be blessed.....

Our family goes to the Christmas Eve candle light church service, then we go out and eat at a nice restaurant. On Christmas morning we have a big breakfast at the in-laws and then exchange gifts.

Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas Eve mass and then we party at the folk's place until late. Then head home and finish putting together all the nuts and bolts gifts for the kids.

We travel to Illinois every other year. When in Dallas we hit a Christmas Eve service. But EVERY Christmas Eve my kids open one gift that has pajamas and a book. Kids love it. (Then we all yell Hook'em!)

We each buy a new ornament for the tree every year and have since the kids were small. We also pick a dish to fix on Christmas Eve.

Candlelight service Christmas Eve and then home for a

good ol' Griswold Family Christmas(Ha!).

We have all the inlaws and cousins (one's an evil aggy) over-eat a lot-drink a lot more-do the white elephant gift thing-shoot off fireworks and drink some more.
