That is because the final call rests in the minds of two men who are deep into their 80s with a very different point of view because of their age and deep personal relationships with Mack. No way Mack is gone if they both do not sign off. If Mack beats Baylor, their call is easy. Mack stays. If he loses to Baylor, they may still believe he deserves another shot because of all the injuries this year and the absence of a better alternative. If Saban says yes behind the scenes, their call is more difficult but they will probably stick with Mack, especially if he beats Baylor.Hey Brother, no disrespect taken. The dynamic has changed between 1-2 and 8-3, possibly 10-3. They are looking for any excuse to keep Mack around.
