Charlie Strong's 5 Core Values

Well, the Austin American-Statesman has secured a copy of the affidavit charging Meander and Sanders with sexual assault. With that in mind, I think it's a good time to also revisit Charlie Strong's "5 Core Values" - the main point being "Treat Women with Respect".

Needless to say, both players are suspended indefinitely pending the results of this case. I don't wanna pass judgement, but it doesn't look good for either.

Innocent until proven guilty, let the courts and a jury decide the results.  However, if the girl was truly found crying under a desk by the police officers, the girl was not treated with respect and these two violated the team core values and should be released from the team no matter the outcome in the courts.

Dirt bags will use clean laundry against you. I'm beginning to think that the next time Brian Davis writes or says anything positive about Texas, will be the day someone who knows and loves him needs to send the men in white coats to pick him up. That man has an Agenda.

So what if rival coaches use negative recruiting? They have always used negative recruiting tactics against us. R. C. did it. Briles does it. To the best of my knowledge TCU has not, but that may have changed. Why? Few can compete with the City of Austin. Few can compete with Strongs record of putting guys in The League. Few can compete with the facilities, soon to become no one can compete. And now, they cannot acuse us of being soft.

Bring it on Sumlin. Bring it on Briles. These kids are smart, and guess what? They trust their peers more than they trust two middle aged men. Just Bring It On!
