SMU and Indiana making the case for an 8-team playoff.

Yet, people complain that their team didn't get selected.

This just in: SMU QB throws another interception. The good news for SMU is it wasn't a pick six.

SMU was inside 20 on 1st possession and he could run for but tried hit receiver that covered in end for incompletion on 4th dow. Another time SMU was on PSU 20 OR 30 throws another int. Beside two he threw from pick 6.

Penn State's left OT, #56, is just getting manhandled all game. They haven't run to his side much and I can see why. I just watch 56 get shoved two yards deep into the backfield. And this is against SMU.

I don't know if I've ever seen a QB have as bad a 1st half as SMUs did. And they could block Penn State defense #11 all game

I agree.

My point was: [sarcasm - not at you] If they selected 32 teams some people would question the selection or complain. If they selected 64 teams, wash, rinse and repeat. See NCAA Tournament.

Initially I was against the idea that the SEC should get 4 automatic playoff births. Now I think it's a good idea. It can help compensate for the fact that an SEC schedule is way harder then the BIG12 or ACC, yet the rankings mostly care about how many losses.

Yeah I agree on that..I'm really interested to see what Ohio State will do this time against Oregon
