Car crash kills Dallas Cowboys player

Dallas Linebacker Jerry Brown was killed in a car crash in Irving early this morning. The car was apparently driven by nose tackle Josh Brent who, according to police reports, was intoxicated.

Josh Brent has been Josh Brent has been arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.

Brent was suspended at Illinois and did jail time for DWI..I read there were a dozen or so players at some club and Brent and Brown, who both attended Illinois left together. Why anyone would drive while intoxication is an question many ask but why a professional player doesn't have a driver, especially with an alcohol history, is insane.

Just read additionally that Brent was a handful at Illinois. Besides being suspended for the DWI he was in and out of trouble then entire time he was at the university. A staffer to the university said it was always something with Brent.
