Briles is a fantastic coach. Is it possible to be happy for Baylor with this deal? If you ask most Texas fans, they have always thought of BU as a bottom tier team in the league (from year's past). It definitely makes the conference stronger in my opinion.

If the buyout is indeed $5 million per many twitter reports, that puts Briles in play if Saban doesnt work out.

$5 million isnt holding Texas back but would it hold Aggie back? They arnt in great financial position. Sure they arnt poor but athletics has has to borrow $ a few times in recent years.

If he doesnt come to Texas, I want Briles to stay at Bu and do what he has been doing. A consistently good Baylor is good for Big 12 and fun to watch. I want to see Bu take on a team like LSU and UGA and beat them bc we know what the SEC considers as good Defenses cant handle Big12 Offenses.

Going off Brown's tweet he'd quoted it at $5 mil
