Billy Pittman

Just have been watching "The Season", about UT's run to the NC in 2005.  Game after game, the big plays 

were receptions by Billy Pittman.  He came through BIG TIME in game winning plays, in many games. 

Was he the MVP of that season, considering how good Vince played? Whatever your answer, Pittman

was a big time contributor to Texas' NC  in 2005.  Did Pittman get a shot in the NFL afterwards ?

Yeah, Pittman's TD catch before the half was when you knew OU had exactly zero chance to pull an upset against us. That was a thing of beauty!

Pittman is a great example of a "gamer". Wasn't that fast, athletic or big but the guy knew how to play WR. He wasn't even ranked coming out of HS by recruiting services. 

If I recall he ran a slow 40 and wasn't drafted. I could be wrong though.

Agree, Pittman was clutch. Brian Carter made clutch plays in the title game as well, and upon further review had quite a good season that year as well. Unfortunately Pittman has made some poor decisions with his life after football with arrests. Not sure if he is doing time or not at the moment after armed robbery last year.

Ditto. 

Pittman contributed big time in 2005 to the NC.  Had some huge catches at ohio state, vs. ou, plus the usc game.  I hope he gets his life turned around...

Cameron isnt a nice place. He's going to likely do some time for this latest run in.
