We are minutes away from an announcement that the Big XII and Southeastern Conference will meet in a bowl game annually if neither of the two conferences make it to the proposed playoff 4 team playoff system (in 2014). I think it is a phenomenally strong move that is a win-win for both conferences. The two powerhouse conferences! Plus there is a strong possibility we may get to beat up on A&M again (assuming they can boast a winning record in their new conference).

This is great news but not sure they will get to meet as often as it seems. Interesting stat - In the 14 years of the BCS, the Big 12 and SEC have had 11 seasons in which each conference has had at least one team ranked in the top four of the final BCS standings.

You guys know who is behind all this right?

No matter if #1 plays #1 ever this is still a good move to have a tie in like the Pac12/Big10 has with the Rose Bowl.

Shoves it straight in the Pac 12/ Big 10's face with their damnRose Bowl. Colorado and Nebraska must be kicking themselves now.

The ACC is now completely marginalized. Their fans are starting to realize it. Our acquisition of some ACC teams will now be accelerated.

And then some perhaps. I'm sure a lot of AD's all over the country are in panic mode.

So does the Big 10 and Big 12 absorb all the good teams from the ACC and let the rest bottom feed with what is left of the big east?
