Big OV starting today

Silsbee (TX) OL Patrick Hudson will be on campus for a mid week official. We will bring you anything we hear from the visit.
With a mid-week OV, I expect there won't be as much 'pageantry' but a lot more one on one time with coaches and academic representatives.  Do we know if Hudson's sister is going on this (and other) visits with him?

I wouldn't categorize this as "miraculous" (best described as "refreshing") but when Patrick sits down with his position coach it will be Matt Mattox and NOT Joe Wickline. That alone will move the chance north of 10%. The fact that he is coming for an OV without the "pageantry" lets me know he's intrigued. Normally a kid who takes an OV without actual interest in possibly committing would come FOR the "pageantry". I don't believe our chances are great to flip Hudson but I doubt he's coming all the way to Austin just to get out of class.

I'm not calling for a flip here either, but when I spoke to someone last month I was really surprised about the staff's optimism about where they sat with Hudson. And this was prior to the visit ever being setup.

It was stressed to me that the sister is the key in this whole thing, so it will be interesting.

Higs says Mom and Sister didn't make the trip with Hudson.  There is another visitor there with him though.

How do you know?

From Left to Right:  Freshman AA Vahe (Hudson's host), S&C coach Moorer, Strongman Mark Henry (and Hudson mentor), Hoodie guy, Hudson, Vince Young

For those unaware - Mark Henry is from Hudson's hometown (Silsbee) and is a mentor to Hudson.  Henry lives and trains in Austin and is a huge Texas fan.
