Is absolutely NOT making this easy. Just wait until you hear the numbers of the deal Mack is trying to garner on the way out.

It's like they say about hookers. Youdon't pay them for what they've done. You pay them to leave.

it will get done. the BMD will just pay him off and be done with it

these guys are not going to allow Mack to f*ck things up

It's really now simply of matter of how much? Would really disappointed if Mack tries to hold Texas up for ransom. As good as he's been to the University, I'd say the University has been better to him. Wouldn't you like to get 5Mil a year to succeed at a rate of less than 60%?

Hasn't this already been addressed?

Wasn't his precisely why Dodds extended him to 2020?

They saw this possibility coming and quickly created a type of golden parachute for Brown that will have UT still paying him into his 80s.

can't say I'm surprised. I just never thought he'd go easily. This is one of the main reasons I did not expect Saban to be our next HC. Mack is intent on killing that option at all costs apparently.

Mack has a contract with a stated buyout amount. He is not entitled to more than that, so anything he gets above it is GRAVY.

He doesn't pay us (tax payers and UT contributors) to work there for gosh sakes. Wake up Mack.

Totally agree.

This is not going to end well I'm afraid

for Mack? Maybe not but I just cant believe the BMD would allow Mack to mess up any deal with Saban or any other coach. I think if it came down to it they would fire his ass, but obviously no one wants it to go down this way

I think this will get worked out and is just likely more negotiation tactics

Is it Mack or is it actually Joe Jamail??
