the meme right now seems to be implying that charlie did something wrong by taking the four players or our having the room for them proves that the whole thing was a set-up.

what nobody is mentioning is the nature of the program when charlie got here.  there were way too many players who weren't seeing the field or weren't playing very well when they did.  charlie's first job here is retooling the roster.  until virtually all the players are field-worthy there is likely to be continued relatively high rates of transfer or such.

had baylor screwed the pooch somewhat later, we probably wouldn't have had much room to pick up their bail outs.  this timing was a godsend.  if baylor were actually a religious school that would be ironic.  baylor is a religious school kind of like a&m is a military school.  no rape factory is truly a place of religion.

Has there been any update on Cobb? It seems like OU or TCU will be his choice.

Where do you guys think Brandon Bowen is going?

What no one has brought up( which is frankly surprising to me) is how this will effect our ability to bring in a kicker via transfer or flat out offer?

I like the clips of our supposed walk on Nager? But is he so damned hung HO that he will pass up a full ride just to come here? Lots of damned games come down to a kicker.

Yea he is. Well, he didn't get any full offers IIRC... He got preferred walk on offers that he turned down to enroll at Texas for the Fall then attempt to walk on. He shared a letter that he wrote in the sixth grade saying that his future goals including playing football at (as he wrote it on the letter) THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS!!!! So yea, I'd say he's pretty gung ho about it lol
