Alderman – Even though Baylor hasn't played anyone of note so far this year, it is easy to see that they have one of the best offenses in the nation. Texas will have their hands full against Baylor and it will take a monumental effort in all phases to pull off the upset. The Longhorns need to use speed and misdirection to score on offense, and pressure the pocket and jam receivers while on defense. I think the Longhorns will put up a good fight, but the Bears will pull away by mid-3rd quarter and win big.

Carrara – The Longhorns come out fired up for this game and keep things interesting most of the game, but Baylor escapes DKR with a 10 point win. Swoopes has another solid game and throws a pair of TD’s but Baylor’s WR’s get the better of the Texas defensive backs when it is all said and done.

Cotcher – I expect Texas to play really well. The hurdle I can’t cross is that Texas hasn’t put together a complete, 4-quarter effort yet this season. Against a team like Baylor, one bad quarter will get you beat. This will be a one score game into the 2nd half…I’ll even predict that Texas leads at one point in the 2nd half. But, in the end, this is a heartbreaker much like UCLA.

Flanagan – The key for the Longhorns would be not to just control time of possession, but DOMINATE it. For every minute Baylor has the ball, Texas should have it at least 2.5, if not 3 minutes. Even if they do that, Baylor still is able to score so quickly. I am not 100% confident that the defense will be able to stop Baylor but I do have faith that the secondary can slow them down and stay with Baylor's speedy receivers. The problem that the Longhorns have is they are not clutch. When push comes to shove, they will buckle. I like Baylor to win but I won't pick them to cover.

Hinton – After a mediocre performance in Lawrence, the offense should play much better in front of the home crowd and after having been told they'll get blown out by the top ten-ranked Baylor Bears. Swoopes will start hitting on some of the deep passes, which should open up the running game. The question is, will they put up enough points to hang with the BU offense? While the Texas defense is the best the Bears have seen this season, and they will be able to slow them down a bit, in the end it just won't be enough.

Hopkins – Though UT had a good show against Kansas, the Longhorns will fall to the powerhouse that is Baylor. We simply aren't ready to take on a team that strong.

Roach – Texas could really use a signature win against a top team like Baylor to jumpstart something in recruiting and build some confidence in the current team. I think the Texas defense will put up a tough fight, but in the end the Longhorns just don’t have the offensive firepower to keep up in this game.
