So it seems, as shocking as this may sound, that the men's and women's basketball programs at Baylor have been doing a little cheating according to the NCAA. In a great piece by Jason King of ESPN.com, the NCAA uncovered more than 1200 impermissible phone calls and text messages during a 29-month span. Scott Drew, Kim Mulkey and their assistants were all involved in the impermissible calls and texts.

According to King, combined, the men's and women's programs sent 738 impermissible text messages and made 528 impermissible calls over a span of nearly 2 1/2 years.

Each head coach could face a 'Show Cause' penalty but that is unlikely.

Will the NCAA even be hard on them? They said they were trying to get rid of phone call and text rules. Crazy how both programs are doing the same thing.

Patrick Dennehy. Dave Bliss. Murder was the case that they gave me. Throw the book at 'em and change the school's slogan to "Shank'em."

Not sure how hard the NCAA will be, but the NCAA has been looking into the programs since 2008, so you never know. Definitely has the feel of having a total disregard to the rules.

Dying laughing at the Snoop Dog video and analogy. Good one.
