Apparently Texas had some type of secret scrimmage this weekend. Jeff Goodman is saying Lammert started. It's sounding like my buddy was right. The starting 5 might be Holmes, Ridley, Lammert, Taylor and Holland. Lammert is underrated and I actually think Turner is better utilized off the bench, so this isn't surprising.

I concur with STP.  This hoops season could be special!  Can't wait to see how Turner and Barnett are utilized in the rotation.

I'm not getting the "secret" aspect? They talked the scrimmage last week at media day and we referenced that? (I'm probably missing the obvious here, so apologies in advance.)

As far as starting lineups go, my expectation is that the one in mid-November won't be the one on January 1st, which won't be the one on February 1st. Not only will it change with time as the season progresses, I think it will change based on the opponent/what style of play is needed.

FYI Goodman also said that his "sources" told him that Texas beat Davidson by 20 in the scrimmage. Taylor was apparently dominant.
