Just glad to get the W. This team was in shock right after what happened with Beard. They're slowly coming out of that.

Next up – at #14 Iowa State (13-3) on Tuesday. Should be a very tough test for us.

I believe that the TEAM is what is keeping itself going, and the coaches are smart enough not to get in their way.

The coaches, I am sure organize and run practices.  They also help the players with skills.

Terry said that Beard calls him from time to time and makes suggestions because he cares about this team.  True?  I don’t know, but it is good for the team to know he cares.

Don’t know, but that’s my take.

Rice has been red hot off the bench, I'm thinking that's why we're not seeing Hunter as much in crunch time.

Hunter's a sophomore so he could be in a slump. Hopefully he works himself out of it.

Maybe going to Ames on Tuesday will help Hunter break out of his slump.

You're right.

Unfortunately, I tend to think it's related to Beard. While Rodney Terry is doing a fine job, each of those kids signed up to play under Beard. 

It seems like we're seeing that lost feeling a little in the first half of the game. By halftime, I would guess, we shake it off and win for each other.

I haven't looked it up, but it feels like Beard was rotating players in and out at a higher rate, especially to account for the higher defensive intensity he was having them play at.

I too have noticed the rotations have drastically changed. That was one of the things I think that Beard was very good at. Sometimes, Terry has me scratching my head with his subs or lack thereof.

That's because of the non call. Iowa St went straight down the court and shot an uncontested three. Crowd went wild and momemtum  switched.

I think its a great basketball league. An average football league.

Iowa State had home court and was ranked #12. No shame in this but we didn't finish.
