I think Coach Terry deserves a shot. He has earned it and the results speak loudly. I was in the wait and see camp but I’m onboard now. 

This team has been fun to watch. No egos. They play for each other and have fun

Nice accolade, but if he doesn't win a game in the tourney, he may be gone. I say Sweet 16 to secure his job. 

I think Terry has given himself a lot of leeway with how well the regular season went and winning the big 12 championship.

that said, losing to a 15 seed in the opening round would make him an iffy hire. Losing in the 2nd round to a 7 seed would also bring a lot of question marks. 

I agree, make the sweet 16 and he's pretty dang safe to be the hire.

I agree.  He’s earned the job.

Able to recruit = YES.  Game coach = Superb!   The only question I guess is the administrative stuff the job entails… managing a staff, etc.   But he even has HC experience on his resume.

I think Terry has done a great job so far.  But Beard constructed this team and Beard would’ve done as good most likely.

Yes Terry can recruit.   Everyone Texas has hired in bball and football can recruit partly Bc it is Texas.   Can Terry build a team like Beard has shown from recruiting and transfer portal?  Can Terry keep the two 5 stars committed?  Can Terry make it to the sweet sixteen?

I kept wondering if it had to do with the riches of big guys he was able to recruit at UT. With the higher level talent he could recruit at UT he may have thought he didn't need to create chaos to win. He could just line up and pound the other team with talent. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way. Teams with less talent put the havoc on UT.

I agree ,nothing like VCU. At least last I remember.

Two things about tourny. I will root for Horns every game and against Kansas every game.
